Kevin Mtai: A Leading Voice in Climate Justice
Kevin Mtai is a passionate climate justice advocate and environmentalist, dedicated to driving global change. As Co-Founder and Development Director of the Kheri Environment Action Network (KEAN International), he leads initiatives to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable practices.
A prominent voice in the youth climate movement, Kevin serves as the Communication Coordinator for the Loss and Damage Youth Coalition and is a Youth Champion for the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative. His involvement with Climate Live and Fridays for Future International further amplifies his impact on the global stage.
Beyond his activism, Kevin’s skills as a videographer and photographer have been instrumental in raising awareness through his work with Greenhouse Communications at COP events. His commitment to environmental causes is also evident in his roles as a board member of the LDYC Grant Making Council and a former youth board member at Ingka Group.
As the Global Development Director for Earth Uprising International, Kevin continues to dedicate his time and energy to fostering a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
